Man assaulted in Letenské sady, police seek suspect

Police are searching for a suspect who assaulted a 40-year-old man in Letenské sady, Prague 7, on March 21 shortly after 2 p.m. According to investigators, the suspect punched the victim in the face twice and kicked in the head. The victim sustained serious injuries, including two broken front teeth and a laceration to the chin, and required medical attention.

The attack followed a verbal exchange between the two men. The suspect left the scene immediately afterward.

CCTV footage shows the man walking a dog on Nad Štolou Street around the time of the incident. Police described him as about 40 years old, stocky, with a well-groomed full beard and tattoos on both forearms. He was wearing light trousers, a grey hoodie, and a dark cap.

If convicted of bodily harm, the suspect faces up to three years in prison.
