Man wanted after punching shop assistant, knocking her teeth out

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who violently attacked a shop assistant following a dispute over a product complaint in a leather goods store on Milady Horákové Street, Prague 7.

The incident occurred when a dissatisfied customer demanded a refund for a bag he had purchased. After the store refused the complaint, the man began verbally abusing the saleswoman and behaving aggressively. In his rage, he kicked a display suitcase, sending it crashing through the shop window.

When the saleswoman followed him to the door to ensure he left, the man punched her in the shoulders and face, knocking out several of her teeth and causing injuries that led to a long-term sick leave.

Police have secured clear CCTV footage of the incident, but have not yet been able to identify the suspect. The man is being sought for causing bodily harm, an offense punishable by up to three years in prison.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity or whereabouts is urged to call emergency line 158.
