A person and their dog were rescued from a rocky ledge near Kokořín in the Mělník district Thursday night.
A specialized climbing team from the Mělník central fire station descended to the stranded pair using rope techniques and brought them safely to the ground. Neither the person nor the dog was injured.
A four-wheeler was used to transport equipment into the difficult terrain.
