A large-scale police operation is set to accompany two high-profile soccer matches in Prague this Saturday. SK Slavia Praha will host FC Baník Ostrava in Eden, while AC Sparta Praha welcomes SK Sigma Olomouc to Letná. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

Several hundred officers will be deployed to ensure public order and safety, according to a statement from the Prague police.
The operation will include officers from public order, criminal, traffic, and immigration units, as well as members of special forces, regional riot teams, and anti-conflict squads. Dozens of municipal police officers will also support the effort.
Police will monitor fan movements throughout the city and may provide escorts to the stadiums if necessary.
Traffic delays are expected in the areas surrounding both venues – Eden Arena in Vršovice and Letná Stadium. Authorities are urging fans to use public transport or park-and-ride facilities due to limited parking near the stadiums.
