Police in Prague are searching for a man suspected of sexually assaulting two women in separate incidents on the morning of Monday, May 26. According to a statement by the Prague Regional Police Directorate, both cases are believed to involve the same individual.
The first incident occurred at the Nové Butovice metro station, where the man allegedly groped a woman’s buttocks as she boarded a train. Shortly afterward, a second woman, aged 22, was allegedly sexually assaulted in a nearby park. As she walked up a staircase, the man reportedly approached her from behind and touched her buttocks and genitals.
The women reported both incidents to the police, who have since identified the suspect on surveillance footage. Authorities are appealing to the public for help identifying the man, and are encouraging any other potential victims to come forward.
The case is currently being investigated on suspicion of disorderly conduct and sexual assault.
