A car fire in Prague’s Hlubočepy on Wednesday evening completely destroyed the vehicle, according to Prague firefighters. Crews from the Radotín station were dispatched to K Barrandovu Street, near the intersection with Štěpařská, shortly after 18:00.
Firefighters reported that the car was already burning in full when they arrived. The blaze was extinguished with a single water stream. The incident forced a temporary road closure, with traffic out of the city blocked and later limited to one lane. Full operation was restored around 21:00.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Authorities have not confirmed whether anyone was injured.
