Both victims remain hospitalized, but are no longer in life-threatening condition. Police stated that due to the severity of the act, committed against two people, the suspect faces up to life in prison if convicted. Prosecutors and courts are expected to decide soon whether he will remain in custody.

The case initially prompted an appeal for witnesses, especially a woman who reportedly confronted three Czech-speaking men before the violence broke out. Investigators confirmed they are now following up with those who responded.
