Rescue operation in Prague 1 briefly halts tram traffic

Tram service was temporarily interrupted in Prague’s city center on Wednesday evening due to an emergency response in Bolzanova Street. According to information from the city’s operational center, the intervention was linked to the rescue of a pedestrian.

The incident began at 20:26, when traffic on tram lines 5, 9, 15 and 26 was stopped and rerouted in both directions. Firefighters, police and paramedics were present on site. At 20:40, the operation was concluded, and full tram service was restored.

Authorities have not yet released further details about the pedestrian’s condition.
