A collision involving four vehicles brought traffic to a crawl on Strakonická this afternoon, shutting down a major exit route from Prague’s center.

The crash occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. on the busy stretch connecting the Zlíchov Tunnel to the Barrandov Bridge. Emergency services responded immediately, cordoning off two lanes to manage the wreckage and attend to the scene.
For nearly ninety minutes, the pileup forced drivers into a bottleneck on one of the capital’s essential arteries. Crews worked to clear the damaged vehicles and debris, finally reopening the road around 2:30 p.m.
